Compass Last Day of the Semester

Students attended the last day of Compass getting feedback and sharing work from final projects.
We looked at work from Drawing, Visual Language and Self Portraits from Art History.
Photography and Graphic Design majors also updated us on recent work.

Weekly Meetings

The semester has gone by fast. We meet twice a week with students where faculty and mentors assist students with registration for spring classes,critique work and meet with various people from different departments.


Peg Turner, Art History Faculty follows up on the Art History study sessions that happens during weekly meetings.


Aurelio Ramirez, Director of Financial Aid gave a talk and answered questions.

Camp Compass-Freshmen 08-09

The Academic Compass Program at MassArt is an academic advising and mentoring program that has been supporting students for over 10 years. The Compass Program is part of a network that includes academic advising, financial aid and other departments to provide students with support and guidance.During the school year our program includes: lunchtime workshops, book stipends, an equipment loan program, field trips, retreats and a chance to meet with advisors and other Compass students.
