WELCOME COMPASS DINNER FALL 2010

Students Marcia Roseme and Johnston Thach worked this summer making contact with incoming Compass freshmen through email and phone calls to welcome students to MassArt and the Compass program.

We welcomed 29 Compass Freshmen this year during Orientation.
The dinner was followed by a short film about the Compass program
and a panel discussion of current Compass students: Monika Plioplyte-Printmaking, Johnston Thach-Animation, Thona Ep-Architecture, Marcia Roseme-Fashion, Alex Barbosa-Graphic Design, Adam Bullock-Painting Alum '10. Students spoke about their experiences at MassArt, answered questions and broke out into smaller groups to show work. Compass Faculty Mentors, Lyssa Palu-ay, Keith Washington and Chris Sullivan and Administrators, Jamie Costello and Michele Furst also answered questions about academic concerns as well as general information about natvigating college life.
