Trina Urrata is a major in the Glass department and has been notified of a number of awards. She has won a William Wyman Fellowship, a full scholarship for a 2 week glassblowing class at Haystack, the Penland Flameworking Scholarship founded by Jim and Judy Moore for a 2 week flameworking class at Penland School of Crafts and a partial scholarship to Corning Museum of Glass.
Cedric Douglas won a competitive scholarship to travel to China/Japan with the Graphic Design department.
Alexander Barbosa has won the Roy Brown award, selected for his outstanding work by the Studio Foundation Department.
